When I was going on the train a couple of weeks ago, I bought The world according to Bob to read and oh my gosh, it's amazing.
It turns out it's actually a sequel to A Street Cat Named Bob: How One Man and His Cat Found Hope on the Streets, I haven't read that one, but I've just bought it for my kindle.
It's a true story about the author, James Bowen, a homeless man who was basically killing himself with drugs, then, he found Bob.
I don't want to give too much away, but honestly, it's a beautiful story which shows just how much of an impact an animal can have on someone's life.
A must read for animal lovers.
